Your tasks

You will work on building robotic prototypes. You will start with very simple robots. Slowly moving up in complexity until we reach a fully functioning humanoid prototype. You will provide the machine learning/software team with your expertise on how we should model the robots, give an understanding of possibility and limits.

Game Developer / Graphics Engineer

Skills

  • Experience of MuJoCo Physics Simulator (ideally) or similar simulator where you are able to transfer the MuJoCo
  • Knowing how to build physics simulation models of real robots
  • Experience with real robotic like systems and how to transfer them accurately to simulation
  • Building Training Environments for simulated robot agents
  • Experience with Computer Graphics (OpenGL ideally, or: Direct X, Vulcan etc..)
  • Experience with high performance computing

  • Good understanding of hardware
  • Ideally you should be able to understand the entire stack
  • Programming skills

  • Programming Languages like: Python and low level languages such as (C, C++, x86/64 assembly, CUDA )

Your tasks

You will be working on making humanoid robots learn various tasks (walking, manipulating objects, navigating) in simulation (physics simulators) through reinforcement learning. And trying to close the Sim2Real gap. Then training on physical robotic prototypes.

Machine Learning / Software Engineer - Position already filled

ML Skills

  • Experience with Training neural networks, debugging neural networks etc.
  • Good Theoretical and experimental knowledge of neural networks and related topics (Optimizers, backpropagation, cost/loss functions, neural network architectures…)
  • Experience with Deep Reinforcement Learning
  • Knowledge about Sim2Real Problems and Solutions
  • Fluent in Python
  • Experience with Numpy
  • Experience with a Deep Learning Framework Pytorch (preferred) or Tensorflow etc.

Software Skills

  • General Software Engineering Skills (Git, Documentation, Automated Tests, Unit Testing etc., Continuous Integration)
  • Knowing how to develop software in a team
